Posted Dec 25, 2016 at 7:14 AM Merry Christmas Fred! I started the weekend with 3 players in the first place bracket and 10 in the second place bracket, with a Sunday noon pick deadline. Presumably, everyone lost one pick with the Cleveland win yesterday, the 3 players that were in 1st place are now in the second place bracket, the 10 players that were in the 2nd place bracket have disappeared (at least temporarily). If this is just a temporary viewing issue until the pick deadline passes, maybe it makes sense to NOT process league wins/losses until after the pick deadline, so as to not show the hand of players who have picks on Thursday or Saturday? (Maybe I've posted about this before). It does get confusing if a player gets bumped from one bracket to another without his losing pick visible. Second question, would you be able to design a pick deadline that was keyed off of the date when the most number of games started? Sat 12/24/16 looks like a Sunday NFL schedule to me with 12 of the 16 games taking place, it would be nice if pick deadline could auto-adjust for these holiday adjustments. Nice to have feature. |

Merry Christmas Chris! It is a temporary viewing issue due to your deadline not yet being reached that will sort itself out when your deadline hits. There are a couple things you can do in the meantime, if you want: 1) Change the setting to show player's picks if their game has been played (2nd radio button):
AND/OR 2) Change your deadline
to before this moment. This has the advantage of also causing your league to
process which will sort out the standings. Honestly I'm not a fan of your last suggestion, mostly because it has little bang for the buck since it only happens every 7 years. The manager also will still have the flexibility of options 1 & 2 above. What I was thinking instead is have the software recognize when everyone has picked games that have already started and/or ended, then show the picks and process the week since the picks can't be changed regardless of the deadline.
