can I put picks in for someone

Sure, there are a couple of ways.

1) Enable clones (you can have up to 8). Normally you would use these so that you can make picks under different identities to increase your odds of winning, but many managers also use them for the very reason you ask, to submit picks for others. On the Picks page you'll see the pull-down you'll use for the different clones. 

2) Create an account for each of them. Each account has to have a unique email address but it doesn't matter if its an invalid one. You would then use the "Submit Picks For Player' in your manager control panel to submit picks for them. 

Option 1 is easier to setup, but after this they are both as easy. The advantage of Option 2 is if the player ever is able to use the web their account will be set up. A player will never be able to submit picks for a clone you set up under your account, so if you think there is a chance down the road they will want to do this themselves then I would use Option 2.
